Manager, Talent Acquisition

Position Summary

The Manager, Talent Acquisition plays a critical role in ensuring business objectives are met through the consistent attraction and retention of outstanding talent. This position serves as a trusted partner to the local HR Business Partner and Store leadership teams, supporting talent acquisition initiatives across corporate, wholesale, and field operations.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition – External (70%)

  • Participate in defining and designing the Mexico recruitment strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Manage all aspects of the recruiting life cycle for corporate and wholesale positions; support field operations in their sourcing strategies.
  • Source candidates through LinkedIn, cold calling, networking, specialized job board postings, employee referral program, and other recruitment channels.
  • Coordinate and manage interviews at all phases of the recruiting process, including phone screens, on-site, off-site, and final-stage meetings.
  • Maintain and update local and international recruitment reports, including job postings, candidate status, and activity tracking.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly team reports on candidate pipeline and search status, including overall recruitment KPIs.
  • Participate in annual strategic staffing initiatives, covering budgeting, workflow optimization, and process improvement.
  • Coordinate special projects for the local recruiting team as needed.
  • Partner with business leaders to define annual hiring metrics and goals.
  • Collaborate with Finance in the annual budgeting process to secure appropriate approvals.
  • Work with the Compensation and Benefits Senior Manager on offer structuring, negotiations, candidate closing, and pre-onboarding communications.
  • Lead and contribute to Inclusion and Diversity initiatives within the hiring process, creating strategies and providing direction to the local Recruiting team.

  • Partner with International Communications and local leadership to establish and strengthen the employee value proposition.
  • Develop and execute a robust employer branding strategy aligned with company values and practices.

Inclusion and Diversity (10%)

  • Champion Inclusion and Diversity in all aspects of the recruiting process.
  • Ensure consistent communication and understanding of I&D priorities in every intake meeting.
  • Create strategies to increase the diversity of the candidate pool and remove barriers throughout the interview process.

Metrics and KPIs (10%)

  • Develop and maintain a robust recruiting dashboard measuring all stages from sourcing to hiring.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
  • 6+ years of experience in HR, talent acquisition, or a related field.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including a strong professional telephone presence.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, source candidates, and make sound selection decisions.
  • Solid working knowledge of recruiting policies, practices, and applicable labor regulations.
  • High proficiency in Google Workspace and internet-based recruitment tools and platforms.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical, prioritization, problem-solving, presentation, and planning skills.
  • Proven collaborative skills with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

Senior Manager, HR (Commercial)

Position Summary

The Senior Manager, HR (Commercial) is a key business partner to commercial leadership across Retail and Wholesale channels. This role provides expertise, coaching, and strategic guidance across all HR-related areas, including associate relations, talent management lifecycle, and policy interpretation and compliance. Working in close collaboration with functional directors and district leaders, this position leverages deep project management, facilitation, and communication expertise to deliver relevant and effective HR solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Align HR practices to drive commercial strategy across assigned departments.
  • Consult with leadership on performance, organizational design, and leadership effectiveness issues.
  • Assess needs within assigned employee groups and provide advisory support to leaders on performance management and employee and leadership development.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams and the global Talent Management Center of Excellence, as well as retail teams in the United States, to share best practices and execute proactive succession planning, ensuring employee development needs are met.
  • Facilitate the annual performance management process.
  • Lead change management initiatives to support commercial plans through proactive organizational design, change management frameworks, and communications planning.
  • Identify root causes of organizational challenges and implement targeted actions to improve overall organizational performance.
  • Guide, coach, and direct HR Business Partners in the execution of HR policies and processes, ensuring appropriate legal and organizational compliance.
  • Facilitate strategic staffing initiatives, including budgeting, workflow planning, and process improvement; provide advisory input on anticipated turnover to support the recruitment strategy.
  • Develop employee relations strategies and communication plans in close partnership with leadership, to foster morale and employee engagement.
  • Serve as a resource for HR Business Partners to ensure fair and consistent application of HR policies and practices.
  • Oversee and, in select cases, conduct employee relations investigations; analyze organizational health issues and partner with HR leadership to develop and execute remediation plans.
  • Gather data and present employee relations trends to store leadership teams to assess organizational needs and support HR leadership in diagnosing root-cause issues affecting overall organizational health.
  • Provide direct coaching and advisory support to retail and wholesale leadership to build and develop greater organizational capability.
  • Advise and direct employees, facilitate communications, and help resolve conflicts that affect employee engagement.
  • Support the implementation of the organization's performance management process through coaching, education, and feedback at all organizational levels.
  • Maintain, produce, and analyze employee-related reports, including headcount census, succession plans, and compensation and scheduling administration.
  • Stay current on all applicable federal, state, and local labor, wage, and hour laws and regulations.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as required to support the field organization.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8 to 10+ years of prior HR leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, prioritization, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, project management (end-to-end), and planning skills.
  • Working knowledge of the Mexican Federal Labor Law (Ley Federal del Trabajo).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated collaborative skills and proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to influence and partner with peers and senior leadership.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting accuracy.

  • Prior experience in specialty retail and wholesale, preferably in fashion and/or apparel, is preferred.
